Job description

Holland & Sherry is in search of sample librarian to join our team in our New York. This is a full-time, in-person position based in our showroom within the Decoration & Design Building. Hours are 8:45 – 5:30 Monday through Friday.
This is an excellent opportunity for somebody with an interest in an interior design sales career.
Our new team member must be energetic, motivated, and capable of working efficiently on an individual and group level.
Occasional use of a ladder is required.

Responsibilities
  • Fulfillment of sample requests for the sales team and clients shopping the showroom throughout the day
  • Upkeep and maintenance of showroom floor to ensure that displays are fresh and tidy
  • Stocking, cataloging, and organizing of samples and sample tools; Inventory control & maintenance for all samples, equipment, and supplies
  • Showroom display maintenance
  • Handling of all shipments, including packing, unpacking, and creation of shipping labels
  • Regular inventory to ensure all samples are readily available to sales team
  • Internal correspondence with sales team
  • Correspondence with clients via email as needed. Professional email etiquette required.
