Job Title: Delivery Driver โ€“ Wooden Crates & Pallets
Location:ย 7851 Longe St, Unit 3, Stockton, CA, 95206
Job Type:ย Full-Time
Reports To: Operations Manager / Logistics Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dependable and safety-minded Delivery Driver to transport wooden crates, pallets, and other custom wood packaging products to customers and job sites. The ideal candidate will have experience handling large and heavy materials, strong attention to detail, and a professional attitude when representing our company during deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate company truck(s) to deliver wooden crates, pallets, and related materials to customers across local and regional routes

  • Load and unload wooden products using forklifts, pallet jacks, or by hand as needed

  • Secure loads properly to prevent damage or shifting during transport

  • Ensure delivery paperwork, including invoices and customer signatures, is accurate and completed

  • Inspect vehicle before and after each trip; report any maintenance needs or safety concerns promptly

  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, production teams, and customers regarding delivery timelines

  • Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, including helping to position items when required

  • Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and comply with DOT regulations and company safety standards

  • Assist with warehouse duties when not driving, including staging deliveries or helping with packaging

Requirements:

  • Valid CA driverโ€™s license with a clean driving record

  • Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with heavy or industrial goods

  • Ability to operate a forklift or willingness to become certified

  • Comfortable lifting and handling large wooden products (up to [X] lbs)

  • Strong understanding of load securing and safe transportation practices

  • Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated with a strong work ethic

  • Good communication and customer interaction skills

  • Basic paperwork and recordkeeping skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience delivering to construction sites, warehouses, or industrial clients

  • Knowledge of wooden packaging products such as pallets, skids, and custom crates

  • CDL Class B (or A), if required for larger delivery vehicles

  • Familiarity with local delivery routes and traffic patterns
