Job description

Rapidly growing Millwork company is looking for an experienced Custom Cabinet Builder with 5+ years of experience. Be part of a great team! We are a performance based versus seniority based employer and as result your advancement opportunities and pay raises are all up to you.

  • Need experience building framed, frameless(full access/European style), and inset cabinetry. Experience working with exotic veneers and curved cabinetry a definite plus!
  • Experience with custom furniture building, laminate counter tops, solid surface countertops(Corian, Livingstone, etc.), and/or finish painting is great!
  • Create and organize cut lists for specific jobs to determine layouts, correct construction methods, materials, and parts
  • Perform woodworking tasks such as, but not limited to, milling/shaping lumber, panel processing, ripping, crosscutting, sanding, all equipment/machinery functions, case construction, laminating, solid woodwork, door construction, veneer work, veneer matching, gluing, and pressing on both interior and exterior millwork
  • Use assembly machinery - chain and chisel mortising, sliding table saw, frame clamp, table saw, chop saws and band saw after proper instruction has been established
  • Understand curved work thoroughly including proper joinery
  • Have a complete and thorough understanding of shaper set-up and running
  • Create fine traditional joinery such as mortise and tenon, lock miter, dovetail, as well as more conventional joinery such as using dowels, pocket screws
  • Hardware installation and reassemble finished products
  • Follow a project through to its completion and be responsible for the job's schedule and quality, while setting the finishing team up for success by the quality of work you and you team can produce
