Job Summary:
Panelmatic Inc. is seeking a Fabrication and Assembly Technician for first shift production. The Technician will follow shop drawings to drill, cut, grind, assemble, and install devices onto control panels according to shop standards.
Job Duties:
  • Read and interpret blueprints and layout drawings
  • Layout device locations on stainless and mild steel enclosures
  • Use plasma cutter, jig saw, grinder, drills, and hole saws to make cutouts for devices
  • Use hand and power tools to layout, measure, drill, and tap steel plates
  • Install din rail, wire duct, equipment, terminal blocks, and nameplates
  • Ensure project quality is within the specification
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Perform tasks within quoted hours for each project
  • Perform additional duties as needed to ensure the project schedule and timeline are met
  • Customer site work as needed

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • One year or more of experience in metal working tools required
  • High levels of organizational and time management skills required
  • High levels of analytical, observational, and active listening skills required
  • High levels of reliability required
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal required
  • US work authorization without sponsorship required
  • Ability to pass physical, drug, driving, and background check required
  • Ability to physically push, pull, and lift 50lbs or more required
  • Ability to stoop and bend required
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for four plus hours at a time required
  • Excellent manual dexterity required
