Malone Workforce Solutions is hiring multi-skilled individuals for Powered Industrial Truck Operator for a global partner that specializes in automotive interior and exterior injection-molded parts, glass assembly, compression forming, and custom assembly, located in Georgetown, KY.
Powered Industrial Truck Operator Benefits:
Compensation: $15.00 - $15.60/hr. pay
Position Type: Temporary to full hire position
Schedule: First shift: Monday - Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
Second shift: Monday - Friday, 2:45 PM - 11:15 PM
Location: Georgetown, KY
Additional details: Weekly pay and benefits are available, along with a $300 incentive program for forklift drivers who complete training, remain in the role for 90 days, and successfully transition through the hire-on process with Vuteq.
Powered Industrial Truck Operator Duties:
* Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned places
* Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment
* Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies
* Transport raw materials to production workstations
* Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance
* Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs
* Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities
* Develop proficiency in all production job functions and rotate in job cell into various work stations
* Control processing, delivery or installation of nonconforming product until deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected
* Restock work areas as needed to ensure proper work flow
* Ability to lift and/or carry seating components frequently (Lift assist devices are provided).
* Walk, stand, reach, lift, bend, pull, push to move product through build process
* Operation of assembly fixtures
* Problem solving of work place issues
* Quality inspections of work in progress
* Work as part of a team to ensure on-time quality product to our customers (internal and external)
* Incorporate safe working procedures into all daily activities in and around facility
* Understand and follow written and verbal instructions
* Comply with company rules, policies, and practices
* Attends and participates in regular plant and group meetings and activities, to include regular exercise/stretching
* Any and all other tasks as assigned by any member of management
* Authority and responsibility to stop the production line should a safety or quality issue appear
Powered Industrial Truck Operator Skill & Education Requirements:
* High School Diploma/GED
* Must successfully pass an assessment required by company standards
* Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
* Must posses a valid driver's license
* Business Experience: One-year related experience or training
* Meet physical demands of the job
* Ability to work in fast paced environment
* Able to meet attendance requirements
* A team work, can do attitude and willing to learn
* Have a desire to succeed!!
