Opportunity: Senior Project Manager - Architectural Metal & Glass| Bohemia, NY | Full-time

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Project Manager to oversee commercial architectural metal and glass projects from pre-construction through final closeout. This role is responsible for managing multiple high-value projects simultaneously while leading coordination efforts between clients, architects, general contractors, fabrication teams, field installers, vendors, and internal departments.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in the architectural metal, glazing, storefront, curtain wall, and specialty glass industry and thrives in a fast-paced construction environment. Strong leadership, communication, scheduling, budgeting, and problem-solving skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage commercial architectural metal and glass projects from award through closeout

  • Review contracts, drawings, specifications, submittals, and shop drawings

  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, procurement logs, and manpower planning

  • Coordinate with estimating, drafting, engineering, fabrication, purchasing, and installation teams

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, architects, general contractors, subcontractors, and vendors

  • Lead project meetings, jobsite walkthroughs, and coordination calls

  • Oversee RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, and project documentation

  • Monitor fabrication progress, material lead times, deliveries, and installation sequencing

  • Ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget while maintaining quality standards

  • Identify project risks and implement proactive solutions

  • Coordinate field labor, subcontractors, equipment, and site logistics

  • Mentor Assistant Project Managers and support team development

  • Ensure compliance with OSHA safety requirements and company safety policies

  • Track project financials including forecasting, billing, cost controls, and profitability

  • Maintain strong client relationships and contribute to repeat business opportunities

  • Attend site visits and travel to project locations as required

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of Project Management experience in architectural metal, glazing, storefront, curtain wall, or commercial construction

  • Strong knowledge of architectural metals, glass systems, fabrication processes, and installation methods

  • Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications

  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously

  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, and coordination

  • Experience with RFIs, submittals, change orders, procurement, and project closeout documentation

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, Procore, Microsoft Project, or similar project management software

  • OSHA certification preferred

  • AutoCAD experience is a plus

  • Valid driver's license required
