Summary
MOS Plastics Inc., a Currier company is a medical-focused company specializing in precision injection molding, automation, assembly, and packaging solutions for the healthcare and life sciences industries.
We are seeking a hands-on Entry-Level Automation Engineer to support automation, controls, and robotics. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with equipment, troubleshooting systems, and contributing to the development and improvement of automated systems.

Essential Job Functions
  • Support programming, debugging, and optimization of PLC systems (Keyence)
  • Assist with integration and setup of sensors, actuators, and other automation components
  • Support and develop machine vision systems (Keyence and Cognex)
  • Perform low-voltage (24V DC) wiring and electrical panel work
  • Read and create wiring diagrams and schematics
  • Assist with documentation, including work instructions, schematics, and validation protocols (IQ/OQ/PQ)
  • Follow company safety standards and support compliance with manufacturing and quality requirements

Requirements
Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Automation, Robotics, or Controls Engineering, or a related field
  • Basic PLC programming and ladder logic knowledge
  • Familiarity with industrial sensors (e.g., Keyence, Sick)
  • Understanding of basic electrical systems, including 24V DC circuits

Preferred Experience
  • Familiarity with C#
  • Experience with machine vision systems
  • Exposure to robotics or automated handling systems
