About the Employer
The San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools office acts as an intermediate service agency between the California Department of Education and the 33 school districts in San Bernardino County to help meet the educational needs of all children county-wide. We are committed to working with our school districts, other agencies, families and the community at large by providing services, information and leadership, always with a focus on students.
Job Summary
Under the direction of the Director, Curriculum, Instruction and Academic Enrichment (CIAE), the Curriculum Coordinator, Multilingual Education is responsible for the development and coordination of multilingual education and English Language Development (ELD) services, professional learning, and programs designed to accelerate and sustain student achievement in grades TK-12. This position manages the on-going operations, processes, and procedures in support of local school districts and their multilingual education and ELD programs, in efforts to implement a variety of federal, state, district, and site reform initiatives and mandates.
