US Neuro is a nationwide provider of intraoperative neurophysiologic monitoring (IONM) and EEG services. We work closely with leading hospitals and surgical teams to enhance patient safety during complex procedures. Our commitment to clinical quality, responsiveness, and collaboration has made us a trusted partner in neuromonitoring since 2005.


Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Surgical Neurophysiologist with experience in intraoperative monitoring to join our growing clinical team. Craniotomy experience is strongly preferred, as this role will support a range of neurosurgical cases including tumor resections, aneurysm repairs, and cortical mapping. Ideal candidates are CNIM-certified (or eligible) and confident managing high-acuity monitoring independently.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform real-time neuromonitoring during complex surgical procedures, including craniotomies, spine, ENT, and vascular cases
  • Operate and troubleshoot IONM equipment
  • Recognize and respond to critical changes in neurophysiological data
  • Communicate clearly with surgical and anesthesia teams during procedures
  • Document case findings thoroughly and in accordance with clinical protocols
  • Collaborate with supervising neurologists (remote or in-person)
  • Mentor junior technologists as needed
Requirements:
  • CNIM certification (required, no exceptions)
  • Demonstrated experience monitoring craniotomy procedures
  • Minimum 2 years of independent IONM experience preferred
  • Proficiency across multiple modalities including SSEPs, EMG, and MEPs
  • Strong intraoperative communication and decision-making skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly to different hospital systems, teams, and workflows
  • Willingness to work early-morning and occasional after-hours cases
  • Strong communication, decision-making, and case management skills
