Job description

Position Title: AI Curation Operator

Location: Boston, MA - Onsite, 3 days a week

Job Type: Contract

Pay Rate: $35/Hour

Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Position Overview:

The Data Science team is responsible for the quality and consistency of the data that underpins our intelligence platform. In this role, you will pilot AI-native ways of working to expand and improve the Intelligence Graph in response to customer requests.

Day to day, you will run real curation work through an AI-native pipeline - driving modern AI coding agents through composable skills and Python tooling, profiling messy data, exercising domain judgment, and improving the pipeline as you use it.

What you'll do as an AI Curation Operator

·      Run customer curation projects end-to-end through the AI-native pipeline - profiling datasets, making judgment calls, supervising AI agents, and owning the quality of what is delivered.

·      Translate curation procedures and domain knowledge into structured prompts, agent skills, and reference materials.

·      Make small, well-tested improvements to the pipeline's skills and Python tooling as you use them.

·      Document processes clearly for both AI agents and human teammates.

·      Partner with domain experts and engineering teammates to combine domain judgment with sound engineering practice.

What you should bring

·      Working fluency with modern AI coding agents (e.g. Claude Code, Codex, Copilot, or similar) and a track record of using them for non-trivial work - prompts, skills, or projects you have shipped with AI assistance.

·      Foundations in prompt engineering and LLM-driven workflows.

·      Comfort with Python, Git, and the command line - enough to read existing code, debug it, and make focused changes.

·      Comfort working with messy data, inconsistent formats, and complex spreadsheets to reason about data quality.

·      Concrete background in data work - academic coursework or hands-on experience in data science, statistics, data engineering, or applied ML - is strongly preferred.

·      Exposure to entity resolution, taxonomy mapping, or REST API integration is a plus.

Expected skills and attributes

·      Highly curious and self-directed, with genuine enthusiasm for co-working with AI tools and improving how work gets done.

·      Bias to ship; you make reasonable calls under ambiguity and surface blockers early.

·      Clear written communication skills for documenting processes for both AI agents and teammates.

·      Interest in data operations, automation, and process improvement.

·      Eager to collaborate across engineering and research teams.
