Job description

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Escrow Assistant to join our team at Community National Title.
The new assistant will receive training, comprised of:

  • Basic industry knowledge
  • Utilizing and navigating through our in-house software
  • Understanding a residential real estate contract
  • Understanding lender documents
  • Curative work (e.g., clear title issues)

The right candidate for this position has a proven track record of success. This position requires high energy and a strong drive to help our firm succeed. Overall, we are looking for a responsible, positive, solutions-oriented, self-motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and adapts well to change.
Responsibilities

  • Answering phone calls when necessary
  • Inputting orders into our software
  • Promptly responding to several e-mails per day (occasionally even after-hours)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills, including regular communication about progress toward goals and expected results
  • Proven success with self-managing and working independently, multi-tasking, prioritizing and meeting deadlines consistently
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; adapt to changing priorities and remain focused, and calm under pressure
  • Creative thinker who listens and works proactively toward goals with minimal oversight
