Job description

4Front Ventures (CSE: FFNT / OTCQX: FFNTF) is a fast-moving national cannabis grower, distributor, and retailer headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona with active operations in Massachusetts, Illinois, and Washington. Focusing on Excellence, People, Integrity, and Courage, 4Front Ventures is building a responsible and people-focused company that consistently produces high-quality products, ensures access to cannabis through top service and affordable brands, and provides value through job creation and community engagement. From plant genetics to the cannabis retail experience under the Mission Dispensary brand, 4Front’s team applies expertise across the entire cannabis value chain.
ABOUT THE ROLE
  • The Cultivation Flowering Associate is a hands-on, essential role within our Cultivation team. You'll work closely with our Flowering Supervisors and Managers to nurture and manage our plants from growth through harvest. No two days look exactly the same — you'll rotate through a variety of tasks including transplanting, pruning, defoliating, trellising, integrated pest management, harvesting, bucking, trimming, drying, binning, curing, waste disposal, and keeping your workspace clean and organized. If you have a genuine curiosity for how plants grow and love being part of a collaborative team, you'll thrive here.
YOUR DAY TO DAY
  • Conduct daily plant inspections, watching for pests, pathogens, mold, fungi, or other concerns
Execute plant care processes — pruning, moving, trellising, harvesting, trimming, drying, and curing — in line with company protocols
Perform routine plant maintenance across all stages of the growth and harvest cycle
Keep your work area clean, organized, and ready for the next task
Maintain accurate logs relevant to your role
Pitch in on additional tasks that keep the team and department running smoothly
AVAILABILITY
  • Full shift availability necessary
  • Shift is 7 AM to 3:30 PM, occasional weekend and holiday flexibility needed
COMPENSATION
  • Starting at $18/hr
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 21+ and currently residing in the USA
  • Dispensing Organization Agent Identification Card (obtainable upon hire and we'll help you through it)
  • 1+ year of horticulture, agriculture, or production/manufacturing experience (preferred, not required)
  • Cannabis industry experience (a bonus, but we're happy to teach!)
  • Basic math, computer, and organizational skills
  • A sharp eye for detail and a love of process-driven work
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • A genuine desire to learn, collaborate, and grow with the team
WORKING CONDITIONS
  • You'll work in a clean, professional indoor cultivation environment using tools like pruning scissors and sanitation equipment. PPE is provided on-site when needed. Expect a range of physical activity throughout your shift — standing, walking, kneeling, bending, lifting, and squatting. The environment has temperatures and humidity levels typical of indoor grow facilities, along with ambient noise from fans and motors, and plant pollen in the air.

*NOTE: The facility contains confined spaces that may only be accessible by ascending/descending stairwells while traveling throughout building. Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time, bend, kneel, squat, and twist. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
WE’VE GOT YOU COVERED
  • We're building a hardworking, inclusive team that's proud to be shaping the future of the cannabis industry. At 4Front, you'll find a friendly, energetic workplace where your contributions are valued from day one. 4Front Ventures is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

  • Parental/Maternity Leave
  • Employee Assistance Program
  • Career Development
  • Advancement Opportunities
*NOTE: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Employee may perform other related duties as negotiated to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.
