Frontier Veterinary Urgent Care is a privately owned small animal clinic in Greenfield, WI. We are looking to add full (36-40 hours/wk) or part-time CVTs to the team. We welcome future team members to a new, thoughtfully designed 6000 sq ft hospital that shares the building with an adjacent 9000 sq ft specialty surgical and rehab hospital. Complete with all the toys and amenities you want and expect to ease workflow and maximize efficiency: digital high-definition radiography (with standing radiograph capability), GE VCT Lightspeed 64 CT scanner, GE LOGIQ S8 ultrasound, IDEXX in-house labs, private doctor’s office, large OR, breakroom, large windows for easy line-of-sight, plenty of kennel and run space for patients and plans for a future MRI trailer. The hospital is equipped with cloud-based software programs such as EzyVet, VetRadar amp; Cubex to increase workflow efficiency with critical tools like electronic treatment records, whiteboards, anesthesia monitoring, billing, and communications with clients and RDVMs.

We are seeking CVTs with a positive, enthusiastic attitude who is team-oriented and has strong communication skills. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, have profound attention to detail and be able to maintain composure in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment. A sense of humor will come in handy.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: assisting DVM’s with patient treatments (medication administration, monitoring vitals, IV catheter placement, fluid administration, etc.), monitoring sedated and anesthetized procedures, perform diagnostics (x-ray, laboratory diagnostics, CT, urinalysis, cytology, etc.), restraining animals for examination and diagnostics, maintaining medical records, client education, medication dispensing and administration, and maintaining a clean and orderly work environment.
