The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) is responsible for defining and executing the company's technology vision, strategy, and infrastructure. Oversees all aspects of technology including artificial intelligence development, software engineering, IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and data architecture.

The CTO plays a critical role in designing and leading the development of innovative AI-driven products and platforms that advance the organization's mission while ensuring technology systems are secure, scalable, and aligned with long-term business growth. Working closely with executive leadership, the CTO translates strategic priorities into a clear technology roadmap that supports both current operations and future innovation.

Builds and guides high-performing technical teams while establishing the architecture, governance, and infrastructure necessary to safely and effectively deploy advanced technologies.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute the organization's overall technology vision, strategy, and long-term roadmap aligned with business and innovation goals.
  • Lead the development of AI-driven products, platforms, and digital solutions that support clinical, operational, and research initiatives.
  • Oversee all technology functions including software development, artificial intelligence, data engineering, IT infrastructure, and cybersecurity.
  • Establish scalable and secure systems architecture that supports current operations while enabling future growth and expansion.
  • Ensure responsible and effective development of AI technologies, including governance, safety, ethical use, and regulatory compliance.
  • Partner with executive leadership to identify opportunities where technology and AI can drive innovation, efficiency, and competitive advantage.
  • Build and lead high-performing technology teams across engineering, AI development, data science, and IT operations.
  • Implement strong technology governance, development standards, and operational processes to ensure reliability, security, and performance.
  • Oversee enterprise technology infrastructure including cloud environments, system integrations, and cybersecurity protections.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and strategic partnerships that strengthen the organization's technology capabilities and long-term innovation pipeline.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in technology, software development, AI, or digital product environments preferred
  • Demonstrated experience leading enterprise technology strategy and building scalable technology platforms required
  • Experience developing and deploying AI or machine learning solutions in complex environments required
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity, data governance, cloud infrastructure, and modern software architecture required
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional technology teams and translate complex technical concepts into business outcomes required
  • Experience in a healthcare environment strongly preferred
  • Experience in a startup environment preferred
