CT Technologist – Weekends Only (Fri–Sun, 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM)

Central North Carolina | Full-Time | 12-Hour Shifts | Imaging Services


Are you a detail-oriented CT Technologist seeking a stable weekend schedule and the opportunity to work with a collaborative, patient-focused imaging team? A leading healthcare system in Central North Carolina is hiring a full-time Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join their weekend imaging unit. This position offers consistent Friday–Sunday, 12-hour shifts—providing excellent work-life balance with four days off each week. Work in a fast-paced hospital setting known for clinical excellence, teamwork, and continuous investment in professional development.


Key Responsibilities

  • Operate advanced CT imaging equipment to acquire high-quality diagnostic images according to physician orders and safety protocols.
  • Deliver compassionate, efficient patient care while adhering to radiation safety guidelines.
  • Accurately position patients and monitor during scanning procedures.
  • Maintain detailed patient records and ensure timely workflow coordination.
  • Support the Radiology Supervisor and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive care delivery.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Computed Tomography program.
  • Licensure (at time of hire):
  • Registered Technologist in Radiography (ARRT-R) required, and
  • Registered Technologist in CT (ARRT-CT), Nuclear Medicine Technology (ARRT or NMTCB), or MRI (ARRT-MR).
  • Experience: Clinical experience in radiology preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Schedule: Friday–Sunday, 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM (0.90 FTE | Full-Time | 60–80 hours biweekly).
