American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a Level I Trauma teaching hospital requiring ARRT (CT), ARRT (R), and Siemens CT experience.

• 13-week assignment in the CT Scan department of a teaching hospital
• 3x12 hour day shifts, Wednesday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM at the main campus
• Holiday rotation and on-call rotation with staff required
• May float within scope to sister facilities and Interventional Radiology (IR) to meet facility needs
• Epic EMR used for charting
• Uses Siemens CT equipment, PACS, and Sectra

• Minimum 1 year of CT experience preferred; 6 months of Level I Trauma CT experience required
• BLS, ARRT (R), ARRT (CT), and SCRQSA (R)(CT) certifications required
• AHA certifications only
• South Carolina license required if applicable, must be active and in hand at time of start (pending license considered with proof of application)
• Epic charting experience required
• Teaching hospital experience preferred
• Skilled in 3D rendering, MPR, ROI measurement, contrast media administration, and peripheral IV starts
• Experience with abdomen/pelvis, chest, head/neck, spine, and vascular CT studies
• Knowledge of isolation precautions, PPE, and radiation safety protocols
• SSN and driver's license required for consideration

• Facility is a Magnet-designated, teaching, Level I Trauma hospital with 865 staffed beds
• Perform CT imaging across abdomen/pelvis, chest, head/neck, spine, and vascular studies including CTA and calcium scoring
• Support special procedures such as biopsies, aspirations, drainage, and colonography as needed
• Scrub color requirement: teal top and black bottom
• Travelers expected to attend staff meetings
• Radiation badge must be supplied by the agency, as the facility does not provide one to travelers
• During hurricane season (June through November), employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams
• First-time travelers considered if they have relevant prior experience
• Previous MUSC perm or PRN staff must have been separated from the system for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Local candidates considered on a case-by-case basis; a 60-mile radius rule applies with non-local candidates prioritized
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of application for consideration
• One-time $20 parking pass fee applies for nights and weekends
