Responsibilities
This position specializes in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. CT Technologists perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising radiologist. CT Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. The Virtual CT technologist must demonstrate the ability to perform advanced CT imaging while incorporating competent/proficient knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and physiology. Virtual CT technologists must be capable of providing and directing safe competent technical care based on each patient's identified needs, regardless of complexity, utilizing remote communication tools and relying on the cooperative clinical skills of the on-site CT support team.
