Job Opportunity
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CT Technologist to join our night shift team at a hospital in Bend, Oregon. The ideal candidate will work from Wednesday to Tuesday, covering the hours of 19:45 to 06:15 during weekdays and 18:45 to 06:15 on weekends.
Job Responsibilities
  • Operate GE CT scanners and collaborate effectively with other night technologists.
  • Perform various CT imaging procedures, including but not limited to:

    • 3D rendering techniques (Maximum intensity projection, Surface shaded displays, Volume rendering)
    • Imaging of the abdomen, chest, and pelvis with and without contrast
    • Biopsies, aspirations, and drainage procedures
    • Trauma and emergency department imaging
    • Intravenous pyelograms and myelography
Required Qualifications
  • Certification: ARRT CT, BLS
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical setting
  • Experience with Epic charting system is required
  • Preferred experience in community hospitals, LTAC, and Trauma Level I and II settings
Unit Details
The unit handles a diverse patient population, including neonates, adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics, with a daily census averaging 120 patients and a capacity of 240 beds across 3 rooms.
Additional Skills
The following skills are highly desirable:
  • Effective patient care in acute and outpatient settings
  • Understanding of Radiation Safety protocols
  • Ability to perform venipuncture and start peripheral IVs
  • Multiplanar reconstruction (MRP) and region of interest measurement (ROI) techniques
