Job Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience in a hospital setting
  • Active Connecticut CT license required
  • ARRT (CT) certification required
  • ARRT (R) certification required
  • Experience with Epic charting system required
  • Siemens CT equipment experience required
  • Strong knowledge of radiation safety, contrast administration, and patient positioning
  • Ability to work with a wide range of patient ages, including pediatrics and adults
  • Must be prepared to obtain any required credentials before the start date
Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality CT scans across a broad range of exams, including head, chest, abdomen, pelvis, vascular, trauma, and specialized studies
  • Prepare and administer contrast media safely and effectively
  • Operate Siemens CT equipment while maintaining image quality and workflow efficiency
  • Apply radiation safety principles and follow infection control and PPE/isolation precautions
  • Support accurate documentation and charting in Epic
  • Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and the care team to deliver timely diagnostic imaging services
  • Assist with patient preparation, IV starts, and comfort measures as needed
  • Maintain professionalism, adaptability, and excellent patient care throughout the travel assignment
