CT Technologist

The CT Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures, including CT, Radiography, Mammography, Bone Density, Ultrasound, and other specialized exams according to department protocols. This role serves as the first point of contact for patients and other customers, delivering high-quality imaging and exceptional service.

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for patients and ensure their imaging needs are met successfully.
  • Participate in Performance Improvement (PI) and Quality Control (QC) activities.
  • Assist in maintaining the department’s Performance Improvement Program.
  • Oversee radiology area and/or staff in the absence of the Manager or Director.
  • Maintain departmental supplies and ensure imaging equipment is operational.
  • Promote teamwork and deliver excellent customer service.
  • Schedule patients for assigned sub-departments as needed.
  • Process and transmit images to PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System).

1. Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
2. Effective July 1, 2017appropriate national certifications in two modalities required
3. Current BCLS (AHA). 
4. Must be familiar with State and Federal regulations.
5. One year of Acute Clinical Radiography preferred
6. Proficient computer skills.
