Job description

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to work the weekend shift from 7:00 am- 3:30 pm Saturdays and Sundays. This position is responsible for providing excellent guest service, managing late check-ins and early check-outs, and ensuring the safety and smooth operation of the hotel during overnight hours.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist guests with check-ins, checkout, and inquiries
  • Answer phone calls and respond to guest requests professionally
  • Monitor hotel activity to ensure guest safety and security overnight
  • Handle reservations
  • Complete a shift log of any incidental reports
  • Address guest concerns promptly and escalate issues when necessary

Qualifications:

  • Prior hotel or customer service experience preferred but not required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and stay alert during overnight hours
  • Basic computer skills: familiarity with hotel property management systems is a plus
  • Be dependable, punctual, and have a professional appearance
  • Be able to stay awake during late hours of the night and go to the hotel if the guest has an issue in person
