Customer Service Representative - Insurance Agency
About the Opportunity
We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join a growing independent insurance agency. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping clients, staying organized, and working in a fast-paced team environment. The CSR will support clients with policy servicing, account maintenance, and day-to-day insurance needs while building strong customer relationships.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their career within the insurance industry while gaining exposure to multiple carriers and coverage types.
Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with policy changes, renewals, billing questions, certificates, and coverage inquiries
  • Process endorsements, cancellations, reinstatements, and policy updates accurately and efficiently
  • Handle inbound calls, emails, and customer requests in a professional and timely manner
  • Support Account Managers and Producers with administrative and service-related tasks
  • Review policies and documents for accuracy and completeness
  • Maintain detailed and organized client records within the agency management system
  • Communicate with insurance carriers regarding underwriting, policy servicing, and follow-up items
  • Help ensure excellent customer retention through responsive service and relationship-building
  • Stay informed on agency procedures and carrier guidelines
