Responsibilities
Peraton requires Systems Architect to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) - 3. Position is located in Tampa, FL.
The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and ultimately the end-user who operate around the globe 24x7x365.
This role requires a seasoned professional who will provide expert-level technical design, deployment, and support for secure, high-performance data center systems and virtualization solutions utilizing leading-edge IT technologies. Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Design, configure, and implement complex network architectures tailored to warfighter operations, integrating CSfC technologies including VPNs, firewalls, switching, routing, and IPv4/IPv6 Dual Stack operations to meet stringent operational and security requirements.
  • Act as the top-tier escalation point for advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics of CSfC solutions, expertly identifying and resolving complex issues tied to network performance, security, and regulatory compliance.
  • Perform detailed root cause analysis to pinpoint the underlying sources of system issues.
  • Conduct system analysis, evaluation, integration, and implementation of complex networking solutions, designing and maintaining highly secure, high-performance network architectures tailored to meet the organization's specific mission requirements.
  • Identify risks, assess their probability and impact on program budget and schedule, evaluate and recommend new products, solutions, and designs to address evolving customer needs, and author, manage, and maintain written technical documentation.
  • Offer subject matter expertise and collaborate routinely with Technology Vendors, Enterprise Stakeholders, Development, and Program Management teams to support CSfC initiatives.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
  • BS + 10 years of experience OR MS + 8 years of experience OR PhD with 5 years of experience or HS and 14 years of experience OR AA with 12 years of experience
  • DoD 8570 IAT II Certification
  • DoD TS/SCI clearance
  • Expertise in CSfC principles, protocols, and technologies, including VPN, firewalls, switching, routing, and IPv4/IPv6.
  • Proven experience with data center systems and virtualization solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of government security requirements and compliance standards.
  • Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with experience in performing root cause analysis.
  • Ability to conduct detailed system analysis and provide comprehensive engineering guidance.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional or equivalent
  • Experience in Designing and architecting enterprise-grade wireless LAN (WLAN) infrastructure to meet performance, scalability, and security requirements.
  • Experience in evaluating and selecting wireless hardware, software, and tools (e.g., Cisco, Aruba, Juniper, Palo Alto).
  • Knowledge of modern IT infrastructure and emerging technologies.
  • Experience in project management and technical documentation.
  • Familiarity with risk assessment and mitigation strategies.

Target Salary Range
$104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
