Job description

The Sourcing & Procurement Manager leads sourcing, supplier management, and procurement operations while overseeing a team of buyers. This role is responsible for ensuring material availability, driving cost savings, improving supplier performance, and supporting production growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of procurement professionals.

  • Create and execute sourcing strategies for critical materials and components.

  • Manage supplier relationships, performance, and negotiations.

  • Oversee RFQs, purchase orders, contracts, and procurement activities.

  • Drive cost reduction and supply chain improvement initiatives.

  • Mitigate supplier and supply chain risks.

  • Ensure compliance with procurement processes and industry regulations.

  • Partner with Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Program teams to support business objectives.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related field.

  • 5+ years of sourcing or procurement experience.

  • 2+ years of leadership experience.

  • Ability to read engineering drawings and technical documentation.

  • Experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or a similar industry.

  • Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.

  • Knowledge of ERP systems and quality standards such as AS9100 or ISO 9001.

Preferred Qualifications
