Job Title: Business Analyst - Crypto

Location: San Francisco, CA

Duration: 12+ months contract

Required Qualifications :

  • 2 5 years as a BA in finance, fintech, or payments.
  • Experience in crypto exchange, wallet provider, blockchain startup, or banking innovation is highly valued.
  • Exposure to Agile product teams working with blockchain or payments infrastructure
  1. Domain Knowledge
  • Strong understanding of cryptocurrencies, blockchain fundamentals, DeFi, Web3, and token economics.
  • Knowledge of financial products: payments, lending, trading, custody, KYC/AML, settlement systems.
  • Familiarity with crypto regulations (MiCA, SEC guidelines, FATF Travel Rule).

  1. Business Analysis Skills
  • Requirements gathering and documentation (BRD/FRD/User Stories).
  • Process modeling (BPMN, workflow diagrams).
  • Gap analysis and solution design.
  • Stakeholder communication and workshop facilitation.
  • Understanding of SDLC (Agile preferred).

  1. Technical Skills (Non-developer level)
  • Ability to read and interpret APIs, JSON data, and blockchain explorers.
  • Understanding smart-contract basics (how they work, risks).
