Location: Scott Air Force Base (Illinois) NKI is experiencing rapid growth, and we're looking for a full-time Associate Crypto Test Engineer (Top Secret Cleared) to join our team and support this exciting expansion. About You and the Role The Associate Crypto Test Engineer (Top Secret Cleared) will provide security and functional testing for cryptographic network systems. This is an exciting position which will introduce networking professionals to cutting edge networks and cryptographic systems. We are looking for an Associate Crypto Test Engineer (Top Secret Cleared) to join our team at NKI. This is a 100% onsite, full-time position and will be at the customer's location on Scott Air Force Base. Responsibilities Include: Perform configuration and set up of cryptographic devices in a variety of network systems and environments
Perform functional and performance testing of devices to determine suitability with operational military capabilities
Develop test reports
Answer technical queries and assist users
Create/Maintain documentation of system configuration Required Qualifications U.S. citizenship required
Top Secret security clearance required
2+ years of relevant professional experience.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field of study.
Experience with:
Networking (Basic routing, use of Cisco IOS, knowledge of VPNs)
Administering Linux / CentOS (RHCSA preferred)
Configuring/managing cryptographic devices
Key management systems/PKI concepts
VPN tunneling, SSH
Monitoring tools and their implementation (e.g., Snort) Preferred Qualifications Experience with Government Crypto devices.

Base salary: $70,000-$90,000 depending on experience.
