Job description

*FLEXIBLE LOCATION* Experienced OTR CDL-A Driver (Hazmat/Tanker) – TS Family Logistics

TS Family Logistics is hiring an experienced over-the-road Class A CDL driver with tanker and hazmat endorsements for 1099 contractor work.

Position Overview

· Over-the-road (OTR) routes hauling liquid or hazardous materials as needed

· 1099 contractor position with consistent weekly miles and multi-week trips

· Stay out 2–3 weeks at a time with predictable home time between runs

Pay and Schedule

· Daily rate: $300–$375 per day, based on experience

· Additional mileage pay: $0.54/mile for all miles over 2,200 in a week

· Pay is negotiable for highly qualified and experienced drivers

· Schedule: 2–3 weeks out at a time; reset/home time discussed during interview to align with your preferences

· Signing Bonus: $2000 signing bonus for highly qualified applicants

Responsibilities

· Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle with tanker and hazmat endorsements on regional and OTR routes

· Transport freight and hazardous materials in compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulations

· Conduct thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections and report any maintenance needs promptly

· Maintain accurate electronic logs of hours of service, mileage, fuel, and delivery documentation

· Follow all safety protocols for loading, unloading, and securing cargo, including liquid/tanker procedures

· Communicate clearly and professionally with dispatch, customers, and team members, providing updates on ETA and any delays

Minimum Requirements

· At least 23 years old

· Valid Class A CDL with tanker and hazmat endorsements

· Minimum 2 years of verifiable CDL-A driving experience (OTR strongly preferred)

· Clean driving record (no major accidents or serious violations in the last 3 years)

· Able and willing to stay out 2–3 weeks at a time

· Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, hours-of-service rules, and safe driving practices

· Must be able to pass required background and drug screening

Preferred Qualifications

· Recent OTR experience hauling tanker or hazardous materials

· Experience operating electronic logging devices and routing/GPS systems

· Strong safety record and history of on-time deliveries

· Professional, dependable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
