Job description

  • Fulltime position
  • Must be able to travel throughout the sales territory, visit customers, receive and transmit customer orders. As a sales representative, you are responsible for achieving and exceeding goals for wine and spirits sales within your territory. Performs other duties as assigned.
  • This role will require account prospecting, relationship building, brand knowledge, product representation and exceptional customer service.
  • Applicant must be a motivated self-starter.
  • Position Duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Maintain a weekly itinerary for all accounts with scheduled call back days along with corporate account calls.
  • Follow procedure and achieve all sales goals.
  • Develop, maintain and expand existing brands within the portfolio by providing extensive customer service, including making sales presentations, coordinating promotions, seminars and conducting product tastings and staff training.
  • Develop marketing plans and strategies to achieve long-term goals and opportunities.
  • Ability to prioritize and work in a rapidly changing, fast growth environment.
  • Work in conjunction with the office staff, warehouse, delivery, corporate office and Human resources to ensure a teamwork atmosphere and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Attend all sales meetings promptly with enthusiasm.
  • Keep up with tracking goals and administrative detail.

    • Must be at least 21 years old.
    • 2 years minimum outside sales experience in the beverage industry (wholesale, supplier, restaurant or hotel experience preferred).
    • Good oral and written communication skills.
    • Working knowledge of basic computer applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint …)
    • College degree preferred, however High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, mathematics, time management and organizational skills.
    • Ability to prioritize and work in a rapidly changing, fast growth environment.
    • Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
    • Must possess a valid TN Driver’s license.
    • Must have reliable transportation and the ability to maintain 100/300/100 insurance limitations.
    • Must be licensable under the guidelines determined by state alcohol regulations.

    • Cannot have a major violation such as: DUI/DWI, hit-and-run, reckless driving, and/or super speeder (29+mph) violation in the past five (5) years
