This position serves as the Salesforce CRM Product Owner, accountable for shaping the product vision, roadmap, and prioritized backlog in alignment with business priorities, client/advisor experience goals, and enterprise technology standards. The role partners across business, technology, data, and delivery teams to translate needs into high-value CRM capabilities, guide day-to-day execution, drive adoption, and ensure Salesforce solutions deliver measurable business impact. This leader must balance strategic direction with hands-on product ownership, clear communication, and strong stakeholder alignment.

Profile Description:

  • Own and communicate the Salesforce CRM product vision, strategy, roadmap, and priorities, ensuring alignment to business objectives, user needs, and enterprise technology direction
  • Serve as the primary business-facing Product Owner, representing stakeholder needs and making value-based trade-off and prioritization decisions
  • Translate business outcomes and user needs into clear epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and release priorities
  • Lead discovery with business partners, end users, operations, sales, marketing, service, data, and technology teams to identify CRM opportunities, pain points, and adoption needs
  • Partner with Salesforce administrators, architects, developers, analysts, data teams, and integration partners to shape scalable, intuitive, and sustainable CRM solutions
  • Participate in agile ceremonies, backlog refinement, demos, reviews, testing, and release readiness to clarify requirements, validate outcomes, and support delivery
  • Define success measures, adoption goals, product KPIs, and value realization metrics; use data, feedback, and performance insights to guide roadmap decisions
  • Partner with change management, training, communications, and business readiness teams to support launch, adoption, and continuous improvement
  • Maintain strong relationships with senior business and technology stakeholders, providing clear updates on roadmap progress, decisions, risks, dependencies, and delivered value
  • Identify opportunities to simplify processes, improve data quality, reduce manual effort, increase productivity, and create more personalized and connected CRM experiences

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Strong Salesforce CRM product ownership experience, including product vision, roadmap, backlog, prioritization, and measurable business outcomes
  • Deep understanding of CRM capabilities, user workflows, data quality, adoption drivers, and how Salesforce enables sales, service, marketing, operations, and client/advisor engagement
  • Proven ability to translate business strategy and user needs into product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, release plans, and value-based decisions
  • Experience working in agile delivery environments, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, demos, testing, release readiness, and iterative value delivery
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence, align, and clearly explain product decisions, trade-offs, risks, and outcomes across senior business and technology audiences
  • Ability to balance strategic product direction with practical execution, ensuring near-term delivery supports a scalable long-term Salesforce CRM roadmap
  • Experience partnering with Salesforce administrators, architects, developers, business analysts, integration teams, vendors, and delivery partners to deliver high-quality CRM solutions
  • Ability to use data, user feedback, adoption metrics, and product performance insights to evaluate impact and guide continuous improvement
  • Executive presence and consultative leadership style, with the ability to build trust, navigate ambiguity, resolve conflicts, and drive alignment in a complex matrixed organization
  • Salesforce certification such as Salesforce Administrator, Platform App Builder, Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant, or Product Owner certification preferred
  • Bachelor's degree or master's degree in business, technology, product management, marketing, or related field, or equivalent work experience required

Compensation Pay Disclosure:

Voya is committed to pay that's fair and equitable, which means comparable pay for comparable roles and responsibilities.

The below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Voya Financial is willing to pay at the time of this posting.

Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based upon the candidate's geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
