Job Title: Vietnamese Language Instructor Job Category: Language Services Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: TS/SCI with Polygraph Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: None Type of Travel: None * * * The Opportunity: Your chance to join Team CACI as an Vietnamese Language Instructor on our Prime contract supporting government operations in Fairfax, VA! This position is not remote. You would be 100% on-site in our Fairfax or Reston, VA offices. Responsibilities: This role will enable you to utilize both your linguistic and teaching skills for a mission-driven role. You will provide in-person instruction for advanced adult students (Level 2-3 certified) in Vietnamese and may be required to summarize/gist, translate, triage, quality control and/or edit language materials into correct grammatical American English. Qualifications: * Active TS/SCI Clearance with adjudicated Polygraph
* Bachelor's Degree
* Ability to pass an advanced English test
* Ability to score Level 5 on Speaking, Listening, and Reading target language tests
* Minimum five (5) years' professional experience in language teaching/instruction
* In-depth knowledge of the geopolitical, regional, ethnic, and cultural components of target language geographical areas
* Master use of MS Office and internet research Desired Qualifications: * Has good understanding of one or more regional dialects
* Consecutive and/or simultaneous interpretation abilities This position is contingent on funding and may not be filled immediately.
