Job description

This is a senior-level position with a focus on leading the design, implementation, and optimization of Revenue Cycle applications. This role demands an expert level of understanding of the processes and technologies involved in Patient Accounting, Enterprise Registration Management, Enterprise Scheduling Management, Practice Management, and Charge Services within the Patient Financial systems framework. The role involves driving improvements, ensuring system integration, and aligning the revenue cycle processes with the broader goals of the healthcare organization. The Analyst III will lead major IT revenue cycle projects, provide mentorship to junior analysts, and offer expert consultation to senior management. This position requires a blend of technical mastery, strategic planning, and leadership skills to effectively enhance the operational efficiency and financial health of the organization through advanced revenue cycle management.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from four-year College or university and six (6) years or more of relevant IT/Patient Financials experience
OR
Associate degree/Professional Healthcare License and eight (8) years or more of relevant IT/ Patient Financials experience
OR
Ten (10) years or more years of relevant IT/Patient Financials experience
AND
Must show proven success in the support of Revenue Cycle Applications and maintain system certifications where applicable.


Preferred Qualifications:
Maintains certification relevant to Revenue Cycle Management areas. Additional certifications in healthcare IT or project management (e.g. PMP, HIMSS, HFMA) are advantageous.


Travel Requirements:
Expected travel: 0% - 10%, subject to department or organizational needs.

Salary Range: $118,571.00- $177,857.00/ Year
 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


    Critical Thinking Skills: Demonstrates strong, well defined analytical critical thinking skills to solve intricate system issues,               assessing the impact on various aspects of the revenue cycle.
    Strategic System Leadership: Utilize advanced analytical skills to oversee the strategic direction of revenue cycle systems,               ensuring alignment with healthcare organization goals.
    Innovative Process Redesign: Analyze existing workflows and processes, identifying areas for innovation and enhancement             within the revenue cycle system.
    Data Analytics and Insights: Leverage data from revenue cycle systems to provide strategic insights, using critical analysis to           drive decision-making and process improvements.
    Mentorship and Knowledge Sharing: Guide and mentor junior analysts, fostering a culture of learning and critical thinking             within the team.
    Policy and Compliance Oversight: Critically assess and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, identifying potential             risks and implementing necessary policies and procedures.
    Project Management and Execution: Lead large-scale projects, applying strategic planning and critical analysis to ensure                 successful execution and alignment with organizational objectives.
    Technology Integration and Optimization: Evaluate and integrate new technologies with revenue cycle applications, critically         assessing their impact and effectiveness in enhancing revenue cycle management.

Other Functions:
    Participate in On-Call rotation.
    Perform other duties as assigned.
