Job description

Overview
As a Busser at Hen Quarter, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our restaurant. Working behind the scenes, you'll assist the front-of-house team by clearing and resetting tables, ensuring a seamless transition between guests and supporting the overall dining experience. Your attention to detail and teamwork will contribute to creating an inviting and comfortable atmosphere for our guests.
Responsibilities
  • Clear tables promptly, removing used dishes, glassware, and utensils to keep the dining area clean and organized.
  • Reset tables efficiently with proper table settings, ensuring a smooth transition for incoming guests.
  • Support the waitstaff by refilling water glasses, delivering bread or appetizers, and assisting with any guest needs.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen and bar teams to manage dishware and utensil availability, maintaining a steady flow of clean items.

Qualifications
  • Able to communicate effectively in the primary language of the work location (verbal and written).
  • Able to work flexible shifts and schedules, inclusive of weekends, and all holidays.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8+ hours per shift)
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 40-50 lbs (e.g., trays, dish racks, furniture)
  • Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and twisting
