Crestview Aerospace Overview
Crestview Aerospace is a manufacturing organization working closely with large aircraft and weapon systems OEMs, such as Boeing Defense, Bell, RTX/Collins Aerospace, Northrop Grumman and several others to deliver complex design-to-build and build-to print assemblies. Crestview Aerospace provides these assemblies in support of in-service platforms, such as: H-47, V-22, F-35, F-15, F-16, F-18, KC-135, E-2, and weapon systems such as Harpoon and SLAM-ER. Crestview Aerospace is comprised of two (2) manufacturing sites, with operations in St. Louis, Missouri and Crestview, FL, and employs approximately 300 professionals.
Description
Performs task related to the application of organic coatings. Duties include but are not limited to prep work, masking, mixing, painting, inspection, and identification of details. Identifies finish requirements through work instructions/engineering to determine coating type and thickness. Equipment used Paint booths, HVLP Spray systems, Media Blaster, Inkjet part markers, and paint inspection equipment. Materials used may present environmental, health, and safety hazards; hazardous material handling and emergency procedures training is required. PPE must be worn at all times. Responsible to assure the quality of the work they perform meets procedural and engineering Requirements.
Professional Requirements, Qualifications & Desired Competencies:
  • 1 Year minimum experience.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must be able to work any shift, overtime, weekends and flexible hours as required.
  • Must adhere to Company policies/procedures and management instruction.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and Company Proprietary data.

Work Environment:
  • Primarily works in a manufacturing setting with exposure to machinery and production equipment.
  • Requires standing for extended periods and occasional lifting of materials.
  • May involve occasional travel to suppliers or other company locations.

Physical Requirements:
Primarily manufacturing/assembly environment. Must be able to work in the following environmental conditions: noise, vibration, proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current. Must be able to bend and reach. Must have close visual acuity such as viewing a computer terminal, extensive reading, visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines, and/or assembly or fabrication parts at close distance to the eyes. Must be able to communicate effectively. Must be able to maneuver up to 20 pounds. Will be performing substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
