Job description

Creekside Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our team!

This is an excellent opportunity for skilled, outgoing technicians who want to work at the top of their license, expand their technical abilities, and make meaningful connections with clients and their pets. Creekside offers access to advanced diagnostics—including CT, ultrasound, and AI-assisted tools—plus structured CE and hands-on learning opportunities for motivated technicians.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide excellent patient care during surgical and dental procedures, including anesthesia monitoring, patient prep and recovery, and full dental cleanings and radiographs.
  • Support efficient exam room workflow and ensure strong, clear client communication.
  • Review treatment plans, provide discharge instructions, and address client questions with empathy and clarity.
  • Collaborate with your team and support the veterinarian’s orders during outpatient visits, ensuring the highest level of patient care.
  • Participate in case rounds held several times per year—with lunch included—earning CE credit and enhancing clinical knowledge.

This position is ideal for a detail-oriented RVT who are passionate about gold-standard patient care, eager to grow their advanced skills, and excited to work in a supportive, team-focused environment.

Schedule and compensation:

  • Compensation: $20 - 25.50 per hour, for each hour worked
  • Schedule: This is a flexible position open to either full-time or part-time. Full-time would include 3.5 days Monday through Friday with rotating Saturday shifts required. Part-time depends on you, but still require rotating Saturdays.

Full-time Benefits Package*:

  • Bonus package: $2000 based on active, good-standing veterinary technician credentials in the state of Indiana

Minimum qualifications and skill set:

  • 3+ years of veterinary technician experience
  • Active and good-standing Registered Veterinary Technician in the state of Indiana**
  • Proficiency in the following skills:
    • Patient assessment, nursing care, and monitoring
    • Anesthetic induction, monitoring, and recovery
    • Surgical assistance and aseptic technique
    • Dental prophylaxis and dental radiography
    • Venipuncture and IV catheter placement
    • Client education and communication
    • Strong critical thinking and attention to detail
    • Effective teamwork and professional communication skills

**Recent graduates pending VTNE testing and licensure, or out-of-state license-holders who are eligible to transfer a license, are also encouraged to apply
