Job description

A contract opportunity is available for a Physical Therapist specializing in telehealth and school-based therapy. This role involves providing skilled PT services to multiple charter schools across Florida, focusing on telehealth delivery within the school setting.
Locations and Weekly Time Commitments:

  • Bonita Springs Charter School, Lee County: 1 hour/week
  • Duval Charter School at Flagler Center, St. Augustine: 20 minutes/week
  • Duval Charter Schools at Westside, St. Augustine: 60 minutes/week
  • Creekside Charter: 30 minutes/week
  • G Star School of the Arts, Palm Beach: 30 minutes/month
  • Renaissance Charter at West Palm: 30 minutes/week
  • Renaissance Charter at Tradition, Port St. Lucie: 30 minutes/week
Start Date: August 10th
Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality physical therapy services via telehealth to students at assigned charter schools.
  • Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and document progress in compliance with school and healthcare regulations.
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and healthcare providers to support student goals.
  • Maintain credentialing and compliance requirements, including VOCO affiliation and closed low 40s billing codes.
  • Adapt therapeutic interventions to suit telehealth format and individual student needs.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Valid PT license and credentialing eligible for telehealth school-based services.
  • Experience delivering physical therapy in school settings, preferably involving telehealth.
  • Ability to manage multiple client locations effectively with excellent time management skills.
  • Proficiency in documentation and adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Familiarity with VOCO and closed low 40s billing practices.
