Job description

Role summary: Senior client-facing role leading transformation of credit risk reporting for a top US banking client across consumer lending portfolio (secured and unsecured) combining risk analytics with delivery leadership of a large-scale reporting automation program.

Key responsibilities:

  • Portfolio performance analytics and risk insight - Analyze credit performance across consumer book: identify emerging trends, drivers of delinquency and loss movements, assess performance against risk appetite, connect portfolio outcomes to underlying credit strategy — acquisition quality, line management, and loss mitigation. Author the risk narrative presented to the client's senior risk leadership each cycle.
  • Lead the reporting automation program — Manage the end-to-end automation of risk reporting suite in partnership with the data engineering team responsible for the automation: prioritize build, ensure business logic and analytical intent are correctly implemented, and own validation and sign-off on automated outputs.
  • Own client engagement — Manage senior risk stakeholders, drive program roadmap, and be accountable for delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Min. 4 years of consumer credit risk analytics experience at a bank or consumer lender, spanning portfolio analytics, credit strategy, performance reporting and risk appetite frameworks
  • Proven ability to present and defend risk positions with senior stakeholders
  • Familiarity with modern data environments (Databricks/Snowflake) and experience guiding reporting automation or analytics modernization preferred

Base Compensation Range: $130,000 –$145,000

The posted range is the hiring range for this role — a subset of the broader range available to employees over time — and reflects base salary across our national hiring scale. Final offers are based on several factors, including the candidate's skills and experience, internal pay equity, work location, market conditions for the role, and the specific scope and responsibilities of the position. The top of the range is reserved for candidates who notably exceed the requirements; the lower end applies to those with less experience or fewer preferred qualifications. For positions based in higher-cost zones (e.g., California, New York, New Jersey), actual compensation may exceed the posted range; your recruiter will share specifics during the process.
