Develops, promotes, and manages credit learning initiatives with a strong emphasis on credit risk skills, including underwriting, portfolio management, and regulatory compliance. Performs periodic reviews, analyzes program outcomes, and provides insights and recommendations for enhancements. Ensures efficient execution of all program components, including change management and communications.

  • Develops business cases for new programs, assessing ROI and strategic fit.
  • Advises on resource requirements and develops roadmaps for execution.
  • Defines the credit learning strategy for the business/group and recommends for approval.
  • Conducts independent analysis to resolve strategic issues and inform program design.
  • Acts as the prime subject matter expert for internal and external stakeholders.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Defines business requirements for analytics and reporting to ensure insights inform decisions.
  • Analyzes data to provide program insights and recommendations.
  • Monitors and tracks program performance and addresses issues proactively.
  • Designs and produces dashboards and reports to measure impact.

Communication & Engagement

  • Leads communication strategies to drive engagement and behavior change.
  • Collaborates across BMO to ensure consistency of messaging and alignment with enterprise goals.
  • Supports development of tailored communications to support program adoption.

Execution & Risk Management

  • Leads execution of operational programs and adapts as needed to ensure quality.
  • Investigates and mitigates program risks and escalates concerns to senior leaders.
  • Supports change management and sustainment activities.
  • Ensures delivery of credit training programs to leaders and employees to meet performance objectives.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

  • Builds effective relationships with stakeholders and ensures alignment.

  • Supports execution of strategic initiatives and tracks milestones.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

  • Monitors industry developments and updates programs to remain competitive and effective.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in Commercial Banking, credit risk, and learning program management.
  • Expertise in learning design, facilitation, and program execution.
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to influence senior leaders and manage ambiguity.
  • Data-driven decision-making and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Salary:

$102,000.00 - $190,000.00

Pay Type:

Salaried

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group's expected target for the first year in this position.
