Overview

KOKI Group is one of the world's leading manufacturers of power tools and accessories. The group includes the brands HiKOKI, Metabo, Metabo HPT, Carat and Sankyo.

Role Purpose

The position acts as an important project and process liaison between global teams and regional stakeholders in the USA. It involves consulting and requirements engineering for key stakeholders, project management and development for global Data & Analytics projects focused on North America, and translating processes, governance and requirements between the global Competence Center Data & Analytics and North American business members.

Responsibilities
  • Consulting within projects and translating business process expectations into clear IT and Data & Analytics requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with multiple business stakeholders to optimize processes and enhance efficiency of data and reporting solutions.
  • Ensure Data & Analytics standardization of reporting solutions, data platforms and governance within the KOKI group, with a special focus on the North American SBU.
  • Actively develop and support KOKI’s data and reporting solutions, discovering potential and driving ongoing improvement across all business units.
  • Target-oriented project management of local and global Data & Analytics projects, following KOKI IT project management guidelines and strategy.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements, and provide effective consulting, training and adoption of modern technologies such as Snowflake, Power BI and AI.
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. data privacy regulations and effective integration of local and external data sources.
  • Serve as a key resource partner for local business analysts, combining deep understanding of regional requirements with knowledge of the global data platform and its assets.
  • Provide hands‑on support for local applications and business process needs.
  • Strengthen the global “follow-the-sun” support model across Japan, India (GCC), Europe and North America.
  • Align with the global Data & Analytics strategy to standardize reporting, improve governance, and transition from local to global solutions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Data & Analytics.
  • In‑depth knowledge of reporting and data systems, especially modern platforms such as Snowflake and Power BI, and proficiency in SQL and data modeling.
  • Proven experience extracting, transforming, harmonizing and loading data from various source systems into Lakehouse solutions.
  • Experience with data modeling and cloud data architecture such as medallion concepts.
  • Expertise in evaluating and recommending technical solutions; prior consulting or ERP analytics experience is a plus.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and an AI‑driven mindset.
  • Experience with Agile, Waterfall or hybrid project management methodologies and continuous improvement practices.
  • Excellent communication skills focused on clarity.
  • Experience collaborating with diverse, international teams and facilitating alignment to meet business goals.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% for global engagements.
  • Knowledge of risk identification, assessment and mitigation in business processes.
  • Team‑oriented, collaborative approach with a hands‑on mentality and ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Result‑driven mindset.
  • Proficiency in English. Knowledge of Japanese or other languages is an advantage.
