  • Capture behind-the-scenes content, interviews, community events, and special features while supporting podcast production and commercial creation

Content Creation & Distribution

  • Support live, engaging on-air shows Monday through Friday, including content preparation, listener interaction, guest coordination, and potential on-air contributions
  • Creating and publishing a minimum of two original local articles per day for the station website and mobile app
  • Create, publish, and distribute compelling content across digital, social, video, podcast, and mobile platforms
  • Represent the station through live broadcasts, remotes, promotions, community events, and listener-facing initiatives

Audience Growth

  • Identify trending topics, compelling stories, and audience interests to develop content that informs, entertains, and drives engagement
  • Monitor content performance and audience metrics to help grow the station's reach across on-air, digital, social, podcast, and video channels
  • Stay ahead of emerging content trends, platforms, and best practices while recommending new opportunities to expand audience engagement and brand awareness

Collaboration

  • Work closely with on-air talent, producers, programming, promotions, digital, and sales teams to execute integrated content initiatives and campaigns
  • Assist with station activations, special projects, and content creation efforts across Townsquare Media New Jersey brands as needed
  • Champion the station brand by building authentic relationships with listeners, partners, and community organizations

What You'll Bring:

  • Proven experience creating original written digital content
  • Strong video editing skills using Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, or similar platforms
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, content trends, and audience engagement strategies
  • Knowledge of audio editing, podcast production, and digital publishing best practices
