Job description

Senior Creator Strategist

Modern is an AI-native data and intelligence platform and digital marketing agency. We help a portfolio of high-growth e-commerce brands win on the platforms where culture actually happens. We don't run campaigns on instinct alone, every creative decision is backed by data, and every data point exists to make the creative sharper.

We're hiring a Senior Creator Strategist to own creator-led strategy across our brands. Think of this as the modern evolution of the influencer manager, except creators today aren't just "influencers." They're editors, comedians, educators, founders, and tastemakers building audiences across formats and platforms that didn't exist a year ago. You'll be the person who understands that ecosystem better than anyone in the room and turns that fluency into campaigns that move both culture and revenue.

This role sits at the intersection of creative instinct and analytical rigor. You'll need to feel a trend in your gut and prove it in a dashboard.

What you'll do

  • Campaign Strategy โ€” Develop comprehensive, creator-led campaign concepts that drive cultural impact, brand storytelling, and measurable engagement across platforms.
  • Creator Ecosystem Fluency โ€” Serve as the subject matter expert on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and emerging social spaces, with a clear point of view on which formats and creators work best for each brand and objective.
  • Trend Forecasting โ€” Monitor pop culture, algorithm mechanics, and trending subcultures, translating those signals into actionable briefs for internal and external creative teams before they peak.
  • Data & Analytics โ€” Track performance metrics, derive insights from past campaigns, and continuously optimize strategy to drive strong ROI and conversion rates.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration โ€” Partner with Growth Directors, creative strategists, designers, and editors to keep campaigns aligned from concept through completion.

Requirements

Experience: 5+ years in digital strategy, brand storytelling, or creator/influencer marketing.

Platform Expertise: Deep, native understanding of the major social networks, plus familiarity with paid media strategy and social commerce trends.

Analytical Skills: Proven ability to translate creative performance data into sharper, data-informed briefs and creative tests.

Communication: Exceptional writing and presentation skills, you can build a compelling pitch deck and defend a strategic recommendation to senior stakeholders.

Creator Platform Fluency: Must be genuinely fluent across all major creator platforms: TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and beyond. No exceptions.

Benefits

Competitive salary

Competitive health benefits

Unlimited PTO

Health and wellness credit
