As a remote therapist, you will engage with clients in a fully HIPAA-compliant telehealth setting. We utilize a cloud-based electronic health record (EHR) system that enables you to maintain compliance with all insurance standards, including those set forth by Medicaid and Medicare. You will have the flexibility to design your schedule to accommodate your personal and professional needs, whether that's full or part-time work. This position allows you to work comfortably at home while focusing on what you do best – providing exceptional care to your clients.

• Provide exceptional counseling services tailored to meet the unique needs of your clients through individual, family, and group therapy sessions.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to develop and implement treatment programs that address mental health symptoms, trauma, and co-occurring disorders.
• Conduct thorough assessments to identify client challenges and formulate treatment plans that promote therapeutic progress and enhance client safety.
• Manage case documentation efficiently using our cloud-based EHR system while ensuring strict adherence to legal and ethical compliance standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams within the organization to create a comprehensive care strategy that supports the client’s overall health goals.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and supervision sessions, contributing to a culture of learning and sharing best practices among peers.

Your focus will be on a diverse client base within the Los Angeles community, addressing a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Many clients may also be navigating dual diagnoses, which require a compassionate and tailored approach. Through your work, you will empower clients to discover their strengths and achieve their mental health goals, ensuring that each individual feels heard, respected, and understood in their journey toward wellness.

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Current and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of California.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in mental health counseling is required, showcasing your ability to handle varied clinical situations with empathy and expertise.
