Job Overview
We are looking for a Creative Producer who can run the day-to-day operations of the ZAGG and mophie creative department - so the Creative Director can stay focused on the work that moves the brands forward.
This is a high-ownership role. You will manage project intake, prioritize workloads, schedule creative reviews, keep deliverables on track, and act as the connective tissue between the Creative Director and the broader creative team. You understand how creative departments function and you know how to keep one running without adding friction. You're organized, direct, proactive, and credible enough to translate creative direction into clear action for a team of designers, photographers, videographers, and 3D artists.
The right person for this role doesn't just manage process - they protect creative quality by making sure the team has what they need, when they need it, and that the most important work always gets the right attention. This role reports directly to the Creative Director.
Key Responsibilities
Workflow & Project Management
  • Own the creative department's project intake process - fielding requests, scoping work, setting priorities, and assigning resources across teams
  • Manage active projects across photo, video, 3D, design, and copy to keep deliverables on track and deadlines met
  • Run weekly kickoff and wrap-up meetings with the full creative team - facilitating alignment on priorities, blockers, and upcoming needs
  • Maintain the department's project management system (Smartsheet or equivalent) and ensure all work is tracked, updated, and visible
  • Identify bottlenecks and resource conflicts before they become problems, and escalate only what genuinely needs the Creative Director's attention
  • Track timelines, milestones, and deliverables across multiple concurrent workstreams without losing detail
Creative Operations & Team Coordination
  • Act as the primary communication bridge between the Creative Director and the broader creative team on day-to-day project status and direction
  • Schedule and facilitate creative review sessions - organizing agendas, preparing work for review, and ensuring feedback is captured and actioned
  • Coordinate with project managers, marketing, e-commerce, retail, and product teams to align on priorities and manage creative resource allocation
  • Support the Creative Director in translating strategic direction into actionable briefs and team assignments
  • Help onboard new projects with clear scopes, timelines, and defined deliverables before work begins
  • Manage the creative department calendar, protecting dedicated creative time and ensuring the team has space to do deep work
Production Support
  • Oversee production logistics for photo and video shoots - including scheduling, sourcing, vendor coordination, and on-set support as needed
  • Partner with the Content Producer and Stylist on shoot planning, ensuring productions are properly resourced and scoped
  • Manage shoot budgets, track expenses, and reconcile costs after each production
  • Coordinate asset handoff, archiving, and fulfillment of requests for existing creative content
  • Support the team on equipment, vendor relationships, and external partner communication
Leadership Alignment
  • Prepare the Creative Director for key meetings with supporting materials, status updates, and clear summaries of where projects stand
  • Attend leadership alignment meetings and translate outcomes into team-level priorities and action items
  • Flag risks, resource gaps, and creative bottlenecks early - with recommended solutions, not just problems
  • Serve as a credible point of contact for internal stakeholders when the Creative Director is in deep work or strategic meetings

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in creative production, creative operations, or project management within an in-house creative team or agency
  • Proven ability to manage complex, multi-workstream creative departments with multiple active projects running simultaneously
  • Strong understanding of how creative work gets made across photo, video, design, and digital channels - you know the process from brief to final delivery
  • Experience scheduling and facilitating creative reviews, managing feedback loops, and keeping work moving without adding bureaucracy
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills - written and verbal - with the ability to work across creative, marketing, e-commerce, and executive teams
  • High proficiency with project management tools such as Smartsheet, Asana, Monday, or similar
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift and the ability to stay calm and clear-headed matters
  • Enough creative sensibility to understand what the work needs, even if you're not the one making it

Nice to Have
  • Experience in consumer product, CPG, retail, or consumer electronics brands
  • Background supporting a Creative Director or VP-level creative leader in a fast-moving in-house environment
  • Familiarity with photo and video production logistics, including shoot coordination, talent, and vendor management
  • Experience with Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or digital asset management systems
  • Exposure to AI workflow tools and an interest in how they can improve creative team efficiency

Why ZAGG?
  • Catered lunches every Wednesday
  • Generous PTO plus 2 floating holidays
  • 401(k) match
  • Free phone case and screen protectors
  • 50% discount on all ZAGG products
  • Tuition reimbursement
