Job description

The Marketing Intern supports the Marketing team in executing marketing campaigns, coordinating events, creating content, and maintaining brand consistency across various communication channels. This position provides hands-on experience in marketing operations, digital marketing, content development, and event planning while contributing to initiatives that support business growth and customer engagement. The Marketing Intern will collaborate with team members across departments to assist with projects and gain exposure to a variety of marketing functions.

Essential and Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the planning and execution of marketing campaigns 
  • Support event planning activities
  • Assist in creating content  in alignment with company branding and messaging.
  • Support email marketing efforts, including contact list maintenance, campaign setup, and performance tracking.
  • Help ensure brand consistency across marketing communications and company materials.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to gather information needed for marketing initiatives and projects.
  • Support the preparation and distribution of customer communications, promotional materials, and company announcements.
  • Assist with inventory management and distribution of branded promotional items and marketing supplies.
  • Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and special projects as assigned.
  • Perform other administrative and marketing-related duties as needed.

  • Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Public Relations, Graphic Design, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in marketing, branding, communications, and digital media.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Basic understanding of digital marketing concepts, including email marketing and social media marketing.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Professional attitude, willingness to learn, and strong problem-solving skills.

Education and Experience:
  • Currently enrolled in or recently completed a Bachelor's degree program in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Previous internship, campus organization involvement, volunteer work, or coursework related to marketing is preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, and use a computer for extended periods.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and carry materials weighing up to 25 pounds for events and marketing activities.
  • Ability to attend company events and assist with setup and teardown as needed.
