TITLE OF POSITION:
Adjunct Instructor, Writing 201
STATUS:
Part-time, one-semester contract, with possibility of renewal
DEPARTMENT:
College of Humanities and Sciences
QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates must be qualified to teach "Writing 201," a second-year writing course with a focus on multimodal media and writing. The successful candidate will be a dynamic and experienced teacher who applies active student-learning methods in the classroom.
Job Description
EDUCATION REQUIRED:
M.A., Ph.D. (or ABD) in English, Rhetoric and Composition, Creative Writing, or related field.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
This Fall semester course will be offered in person on our East Falls campus: MWF 08:00-08:50am. Classes begin on August 24 and final grades are due by December 21.

Candidates should submit a letter of application detailing experiences and areas of academic specialization and a curriculum vitae. Additional materials may be requested at a later date. Review of candidates will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.
