POSITION DESCRIPTION:The Exceptional Education Math Inclusion Instructor has the primary responsibility for providing direct services to students, consulting with other professionals, and consulting and discussing issues with parents. The teacher plans, delivers, and evaluates instructional outcomes and conducts the research needed to perform the essential functions of the position.

The ideal candidate will have:
- The belief that our mission can and will be accomplished.
- A Bachelor's degree at minimum.
- Tennessee teaching licensure with Special Education endorsement.
- Experience as a classroom teacher and demonstrated success and ability in subject area.
- Extensive knowledge and strong competence in 9-12 foundational math skills and state math standards.
- Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills, including excellent customer service.
- Knowledge of best teaching and classroom practices.
- Ability to handle and prioritize multiple complex tasks within a deadline and with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong follow--through skills for completing projects.
- A strong sense of protocol, tact, and diplomacy and ability to work well with a variety of people and personalities and a willingness to take and utilize constructive feedback.
- An understanding of non--profit organizations, events, and especially youth development missions.

- Must possess a valid driver's license and show proof of liability insurance coverage as required by the laws of the State of Tennessee.
