Job Description
ISL is looking for a skilled, hard-working Senior Web Developer to help build amazing experiences for some of the biggest brands in the world.
You'll be leading the development of static, dynamic (Python/Django & WordPress), and single page applications. You might even build a mobile app using React Native. Every day will be different-you'll learn more than you ever though possible.
We love open source and incentivize people to write open source code and contribute to open source projects as much as possible. Much of what you work on will be developed in the open
for the world to see!

  • You can take any design and write the necessary styles for it by splitting it up in logical components
  • Your attention to detail is a source of pride
JAVASCRIPT SKILLS
  • You've written large front-end JS SPAs using frameworks like Vue.js, React or Ember
  • Experience working on long-lived software projects where iteration and incremental development were key
  • Your SPAs use state management solutions such as Vuex, Flux, or Redux

  • You have experience with PWAs and are familiar with Service Workers, offline access
  • Fast load times and caching aren't afterthoughts
  • You love functional programming
  • You see the advantage of promises and async/await over callbacks
  • You're experienced writing Node.js backends
MISC SKILLS
  • You motivate the team to experiment with new technologies
  • You contribute to code reviews and help junior team members level up
  • Enough backend-end experience to call yourself a full-stack dev is always a plus!
