Hexcel is currently seeking an Instructional Design Intern for our Fibers, Salt Lake City, UT, USA location.

The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:

  • Design, develop, and implement instructional materials using the ADDIE, SAM, and other instructional design models.

  • Create engaging e-learning modules, multimedia presentations, and interactive content utilizing tools such as Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline, and Video editing software.

  • Develop curriculum and training programs tailored to adult learners, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.

  • Utilize LMS platforms like Absorb LMS or similar systems for content deployment, tracking learner progress, and assessing effectiveness.

  • Conduct research on best practices in training & development, adult education, and emerging learning technologies to continuously improve instructional strategies.

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong project management skills, ensuring timely delivery of quality content.

  • Proofread and review all educational materials for clarity, accuracy, and consistency; ensure high standards of writing and communication skills are maintained throughout all deliverables.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and incorporate feedback into course design.

Qualifications:

  • Enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in Instructional Design, Education, Learning Sciences, Psychology, Human Resources, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in instructional design, curriculum development, or related roles within educational or corporate training environments.

  • Strong proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud Suite.

  • Knowledge of adult education principles, training & development, and effective teaching methodologies.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a keen eye for detail in proofreading and editing content.

  • Demonstrated ability in project management, multitasking, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to conduct research on new learning technologies and incorporate innovative solutions into course designs.

  • Familiarity with video editing tools and experience creating multimedia content.
