Department Overview:
Creative Soul Camp offers kids ages 6-13 opportunities to explore their creativity through unique programming. Our camps and after school enrichment programs offer art, culinary, drama, STEAM and yoga instruction to kids and encourage students to express themselves with confidence!

Position Summary/Job Duties:
About the Role:
Creative Soul Camp is looking for a playful, imaginative drama instructor to lead our after school drama program! This is a space where kids get to be silly, brave, and completely themselves through improv games, storytelling, character play, and the foundational building blocks of theater. We want an instructor who can read the room, follow the kids' energy, and turn that energy into confidence, creativity, and a whole lot of joy in a camp-like setting.
What You'll Do:
  • Design and lead engaging, age-appropriate drama and improv classes for groups of elementary-age kids (grades K-5)
  • Introduce the basics of drama and theater like voice, movement, character, AND storytelling through games and interactive activities
  • Create a classs culture where kids feel safe to be expressive, take creative risks, and let their own personalities shine
  • Adapt activities on the fly to match group size, energy, and interest
  • Communicate with site staff and Creative Soul Camp leadership as needed

Qualifications:
Who We're Looking For:
  • Experience working with kids in a drama, theater, improv, or performing arts setting
  • Comfortable leading a room solo and adapting activities in real time
  • Genuinely enjoys kids' energy and knows how to channel it
  • Reliable transportation between sites (not on busline)
  • Background check required
