Job Summary:

At Sena, we don’t just build communication gear; we engineer the invisible bonds that keep riders, cyclists, and outdoor adventurers connected in the moments that matter most. We are seeking a versatile and sharp Copywriter to join our Marketing and Communications team—someone who can skillfully navigate the intersection of technical precision and creative storytelling.

In this role, you will be the voice of our products. Your primary mission is to translate complex, cutting-edge technology; such as advanced wireless networks, premium audio engineering, and materials compositions into clear, compelling narratives. One day you will be crafting high-impact consumer copy for a major product launch on our website; the next, you will be partnering with product managers to synthesize technical specifications into intuitive user documentation, internal briefs, or sharp press releases.

This position is ideal for a writer who possesses an analytical mind and a creative soul. You are someone who loves to get under the hood of a product to understand how it works, but inherently knows how to market its emotional and practical benefits to the end user. Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Marketing Copy: Write engaging, benefit-driven copy for the Sena website, product launch campaigns, email marketing, and retail packaging.
  • Technical & Product Documentation: Collaborate with product managers and engineers to translate complex technology (Mesh intercoms, Bluetooth specs, audio features) into clear, user-friendly external guides, FAQs, and internal brief documents.
  • Public Relations: Draft compelling press releases, media kits, and company announcements that capture the attention of industry journalists and influencers.
  • Brand Consistency: Maintain and champion Sena’s brand voice across all written materials, ensuring consistency across B2C marketing and B2B communications.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with design, product development, and digital marketing teams to ensure copy aligns with visual elements and overall campaign goals.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: 2 to 4 years of professional copywriting experience, preferably within an agency, in-house marketing team, or tech environment.
  • Versatility: A strong portfolio demonstrating both creative marketing copy and clear, structured technical or product-focused writing.
  • Tech Savvy: An ability to quickly grasp technical concepts and explain them simply without losing their impact.
  • Detail-Oriented: Exceptional proofreading, editing, and grammar skills. You catch the typos others miss.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple deadlines, self-start on projects, and adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Global Business Mentality: Sena is a multinational company with offices in North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia. Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders in different time zones may be required from time to time.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Industry Passion: Experience in or a genuine passion for the powersports (motorcycles, ATVs), cycling, or outdoor recreation industries.
  • Tech Sector Experience: Prior experience writing for consumer electronics, hardware, or communication tech.
  • AI-Driven Efficiency: Adept at integrating modern AI writing and productivity tools into your workflow to streamline research, optimize content generation, and boost overall output efficiency.
