Milagro’sSeason43:Pasandoel Testigobegins production ofthe first show of the season, Marigoldsy Memoriason August26th,withthe first production meeting. Milagro is looking for a creative team player for this devisedDia de los Muertos Carpa show,which opens on October16th. The Costume Designer will be able to access a generous costumestock, access to a sewing room and be provided with a decent budgetfor purchases. There will be collaboration with the directorand other designers,coordinated through theweeklyproduction meetings. The ideal candidate can also sew, in additionto design and is knowledgeable about construction techniques forquick change costumes.

Performanceof the role/position shall include pre-production, rehearsals asnecessary, technical rehearsals, load-in and load out, during theperiod from: 8/26/202611/08/2026

The Costume Designer is responsible for:

  1. Developingthe visual concept of the production in coordination with theproduction Director(s)

  1. Developingrenderings and/or drawings of costume design for the approval ofdesignated personnel

  2. Coordinationwith designated personnel for purchases, pulling from stock,building, rentals, and organizing costumes according to the timelineset forth in the schedule

  3. Arrangingmeasurement and costume fittings with appropriate staff

  4. Restocking,cleaning, returning borrowed or rented items within ONE WEEK ofclosing.

  5. Attendanceat all production meetings and technical rehearsals.
